Exceleration Studios may use qualified substitute teachers as needed. Please see a summary of our Studio Policies below. For our complete Studio Policies, please visit the Waiver section in the Portal.
Arrival and Pickup
• Students must arrive 5-10 minutes early.
• Allow time for your dancer to store items in cubby and be ready for class when it starts.
• Teachers reserve the right to prevent a student from participating if they are late for class.
• Please be prompt when picking up your dancer once their class ends.
• Dancers may not leave classes early without notifying the Front Desk.
• If you are more than 10 minutes late picking up your child after class, you will be charged $1/per minute. This charge will be applied to your next month’s tuition.
Studio Etiquette
• Please be courteous to the other students and have your child to class on time.
• If more than 15 minutes late (without notice) your child will not be allowed to participate in class and no make-ups will be allowed.

• Please take your phone calls outside of the studio.
• Exceleration Studios, Inc. is not responsible for any injuries or for children left unsupervised before or after class.
• Please do not send younger children to class with toys or wearing costumes. This is unfair to other students who abide by the dress code.
• All young children must be supervised by a responsible adult.
• In order for instructors to keep your child’s attention in class, please do not let your presence distract the dancers (including your own dancer).
• Parents of young children should not hang out at the studio windows as this is very distracting to the students and teacher in the class.
• It encourages the children to look to the parents and not focus on the teacher. It can also make the more anxious child upset if their parent is not within sight.
• Please make sure your child has used the bathroom before class.
• We are approachable & sensitive to any questions or concerns that may arise. We are always available to speak with parents or students.
• Please direct all questions or concerns to our administrative staff at the desk. Do not approach the teachers directly about problems or concerns.

Season Dates & Enrollment
• Season Duration: Our 10-month season runs from August 10, 2026, through May 31, 2027.
• Enrollment Commitment: Your enrollment binds your commitment to the studio from your initial registration date through May 31, 2027.

Registration
• Once registered, student class placement is considered reserved for the season (providing tuition is paid on time) and it is expected to be a financial commitment for the season.
• We fully understand that students enroll in other activities. However, we expect a level of commitment from each student in order for them to progress and develop within their class. If classes are missed due to a student taking on other commitments, then their place in dance class may not be guaranteed. This is very important during recital preparation.
• Registration and payment for tuition will be done online via Dance Studio-Pro.

1. Studio Season & Programs
Official Season: Our dance season runs from August through May.
Recital & June Programs: Our annual recital(s) takes place in June.
Workshops & Intensives: In June, we offer specialized Workshops & Intensives. These summer programs require a completely separate registration and are not included in or covered by regular monthly tuition.

Written Notice Required: All withdrawals require an official Withdrawal Request Form to be completed and submitted to the studio. This form can be found on our website and the portal (in waivers).
Two-Week Notice: The form must be submitted with a minimum of two weeks' notice prior to your final desired class date.
Notice Timeline: Your required two-week notice begins on the exact day you submit the Withdrawal Form.
Tuition Obligation: All tuition payments must be paid and remain active during this mandatory two-week notification period.
Attendance Is Not Notice: Simply stopping attendance, skipping classes, or abandoning your spot without completing and submitting the official form is not considered proper notice for withdrawal. Your billing will continue automatically.
No Pausing or Freezing: Studio accounts and tuition payments cannot be paused or frozen at any time. If you need to stop classes temporarily, you must officially withdraw.
Verbal Notice Ineffective: Phone calls, emails, or telling your instructor in person does not constitute an official withdrawal.
3. Processing Schedule
Withdrawals and account adjustments are officially processed after the 25th of each month.
Any notices of withdrawal received before this date will be held and evaluated during the end-of-month processing period.
4. Refund & Prorating Structure

Refund Issuance: Any approved tuition refunds will be issued within 30 days of your official withdrawal date.
5. Account Inactivity & Re-registration
Account Status: When a student withdraws, they are completely unenrolled from classes and their studio account becomes inactive.
Re-registration Fee: If you decide to return to the studio later in the season, a new registration fee will be incurred to reactivate your account.
Outstanding Balances: Any existing balance on your account or unresolved fees must be paid in full before you can re-register or enroll in future classes.
